Hello! My name is Jeannie Layton. This is my second year teaching here at Giles, I teach Horticulture 1 and 2, Animal Care 1 and 2, Exploratory Agriculture, General Mechanics, and Machine Mechanics. I am originally from a small town in Connecticut but now I reside in nearby Craig County. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2001, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education and my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. After graduating from the University of Connecticut I began school at Virginia Tech, there I earned a masters of Science in Career and Technical Education with a Concentration in Agricultural Education.
